spending plans is
here. This is your annual opportunity to review your current plans, make changes, and add or drop eligible
dependents.
New Online, Document Upload Feature!
You can now upload documents directly online during enrollment. No more faxing or emailing! Just
upload your
PDFs
or images (JPG, PNG) as you complete your enrollment.
Medical plans
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico: Offers PPO (nationwide) and HMO (New Mexico network,
except emergencies) plans. Programs include:
- Virta: Diabetes management and weight loss.
- Hinge Health: Virtual physical therapy for joint and muscle pain.
- Wondr: Skills for lasting weight loss habits.
- Catapult Health: Simple at-home testing combined with face-to-face video consultations with licensed
healthcare providers.
- Presbyterian Health Plan: HMO with 2-tier network of providers that includes coverage
outside
of New Mexico. Programs include:
- Virta: Diabetes management and weight loss.
- Sword: Digital physical therapy for back, joint, and muscle pain.
If you’re currently enrolled with Presbyterian or Blue Cross Blue Shield and don’t make changes, you’ll be
automatically re-enrolled.
Cigna will not be an available coverage option in 2025. If you are currently enrolled with
Cigna
you will be assigned to another closely equivalent plan that mirrors Cigna, ensuring a seamless transition.
Pharmacy
- CVS Caremark: Available at almost all pharmacies in New Mexico.
Dental & Vision
- Dental: Delta Dental remains your carrier. No changes in benefits.
- Vision: EyeMed remains your carrier. No changes in benefits.
LIFE/AD&D/SUPPLEMENTAL LIFE INSURANCE
- The Hartford: Remains your carrier. You can increase your supplemental life insurance by
$10,000 without Evidence of Insurability (EOI), up to the guaranteed issue amount. Updates to your beneficiary
designation are recommended.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA)
- Types: Health, Dependent Care, Transit, and Parking.
- Health and Dependent Care: Use-It-or-Lose-It—does not roll over. Dependent care only covers
non-medical childcare for children under 13.
- Transit and Parking: These roll over and can be updated any time.
PREMIUM ONLY PLAN
- Tax Savings: Allows pre-tax deductions for medical, dental, and vision plans. Must be
renewed
annually.

- Tuesday, 10/29/2024: 2:00 PM–4:00 PM
Kind reminder: After Open Enrollment, changes to your coverage can only be made if you
experience a qualifying life event (e.g. marriage/divorce/separation, birth/adoption, loss or gain of coverage).
